I think what is meant here is "unrealistic standards". People complain about this when they hear that a women won't date a man less than 6 feet tall or a man who makes less than 6 figures or a man who doesn't have a 6 pack. Those are the stereotypical 6's "high standards" that we hear complained about. Less than 1% of the male population would meet those standards. So, yeah, if those are your standards and won't date anyone not meeting the 6's, you're being unrealistic. You need to be "incriminated" and change your ways. But if you just want someone who takes care of you and is able to support himself and isn't a complete jerk, that's the bare minimum, not a high standard.
