Just what did Trump supporters vote for??
There are just so many undiluted liberal comments, I just had to chime in ....
1. End the wars. Under the previous Trump administration, no new major wars occurred. The current administration is completely unable to do anything about the wars started in Ukraine and Israel. 1 million dead or injured in Ukraine/Russia is no laughing matter. We voted for Trump's business negotiating abilities - that is what stops wars. We don't care if he is a racist, misogynist, rapist, serial killer or any other flimsy insult that the press who are on the democratic payroll wish to make up. All of that is actual 'misinformation'.
2. Fix the government and stop the waste. It is a novel idea to improve the efficiency of the government rather than just raise taxes. Along with Elon, we count on Trump's business background to run the government like a business and not just a free handout to rich democrats.
3. He can't be bought. We voted for someone who doesn't spend 8 hours a day calling donors and being obligated to them. We voted for change and that can only be accomplished by an outsider who isn't beholden to the entire political machine. We find the entire ability for the democrats to weaponize the justice system to politically assassinate your opponent to be the true threat to democracy. This is why all of the negative press is just preaching to the choir and is seen as an abhorrent abuse to the Trump supporter and causes it to backfire.
4. We vote for letting the people decide what they want, not what just the liberals want. If you want to make abortion legal, then vote for it. If you can't then that is on you. We don't want to impose the will of the minority on the will of the masses. This is how democracy actually works and how Trump works.
5. We vote for law and border security. The current administration just flew open the border to illegal immigration and it has been a catastrophe. We are tired of all the crime and drugs and want to put into office someone who is at least thinking about doing something about it.
6. We vote for the previous record of the Trump administration. Trump concentrated on giving people jobs and lowering unemployment. There is no better way to pay for health insurance, lower the deficit, reduce crime, then to give people jobs. Under Trump, black unemployment dropped to its lowest level ever during his presidency. Trump handled foreign policy including 'rocket man' South Korea without getting us into new major conflicts. He strengthened trade and improved border security. We know what living under a Trump administration is like and we like it!
So yes, I hope we all get what we voted for.
