Of course, if the guy is complete jerk, then of course. However, I think the point of the Bill and Melinda gates is that even if NONE of those things are clearly present, women still initiate divorce, oftentimes not even being able to put their finger on why. I personally know myself that nothing like that was true, nothing dramatic along with others who were perfectly good guys and wanting to keep their marriage. To be clear, good guy means no addiction problem, major cheating or any other obvious red flags. I just read another article that says that men are about keeping the home financially solvent, women are more about “love”, which may explain why women’s expectations are not met when marriage gets “boring”. That’s why they say for better or for worse, but really, I think we’re way too spoiled for that and won’t tolerate anything less than the Disney princess experience 24 X 7. So, no, it isn’t about cheating or alcohol or who cleans the dishes. There just seem to be large numbers of women going thorough something like a midlife crises and abandoning their husbands and families and children for no good reason.
