Well of course not, my comment was to to explicitly exclude sexual fidelity from the vows so that people recognize that “cheating” is something they absolutely need to expect in a marriage. To the point that it is a natural , normal and expected occurrence. The inconvenient fact about monogamy is that humans (and most mammals in general) aren’t inherently monogamous. For most of human history, it was quite natural for a male to have several wives in many cultures. It is only relatively recently that the euro-Christian norm has been the monogamous marriage.

Really, when people get married, they should only make vows they can actually keep — this lasts a long as it lasts and as long as it makes us happy — if not, then you get kicked to the curb. That is a vow that people can actually keep. This forsaking all other till death do you part just isn’t working.
